about

This song is about a bird talking to the tree where he was born. The tree is his home; and even though the bird decided to fly away, his wings are made of bark, and the tree is made of wood and feathers.

Esta canción se trata de un pájaro hablándole al árbol donde nació. El árbol es su casa; y el por más que el pájaro haya decidido volar lejos, sus alas están hechas de corteza, y el árbol está hecho de madera y plumas.

lyrics

Lyrics:

Llevo en mis plumas
El recuerdo de tu viento
Y me cuesta pensar
Qué será de tus raíces

Dejo de olvidar
La verdad, algo nos une
Y puedo volar
Lejos siguiendo a mi estrella

Estas alas están hechas de corteza azul
Y tus ramas terminan en plumas
Arbolito, de qué está hecha la luna?

Translation:

I carry in my feathers
The memory of your wind
And I found hard to think
In what will happen to your roots

I stop forgetting
The truth, something holds us together
And I’m able to fly
Far away, following my star

These wings are made of blue bark
And your branches end up in feathers
Dear tree, what is the moon made of?
